Saturday AWAY swim meet:

The deadline for the opt-in sign up for this Saturday’s swim meet is Thursday by noon.  Please log into the website and mark your availability and select the events for your kids.  The new preference is to select your kids top two events.  Don’t worry about it if you did more than two.  Since we have now learned that everyone selects the shortest distance, free then breast, in that order, as a team we have to mix things up a little bit and challenge the kids.  Coach always has the final say who gets signed up for what.  However, if we have the kids top two choices that allows coach to select a third and I think then we will get closer to that ‘challenge the kids but keep them happy’ fine line.  To login and select your kids availability go here:https://flr-penguins.swimtopia.com/ then click on “My Account”.

City Meet:This is BIG NEWS!!!!

The city meet will happen on Saturday July 17^th @ Mountain View High School in Loveland.  Are you ready for this?  Are you sitting down?  Do you have a beverage in your hand?  The location is INDOORS!  Yes inside.  No sunscreen.  No insane heat.  No Tents.  8 Lanes = less heats = faster meet.  Lots of Parking.  Big Score Board.  Possible concession or food trucks.  Possibility of Live Streaming.  This is really something you should push your kids to attend as this is will be a unique experience this year.  There will be volunteers required.  There is a $4 per individual event,and $8 per relay cost.  However if money is stopping you from doing city please come talk to me we can and will make something work.

Team Swim Suits:

As previously mentioned MI sports in Loveland (3400 N Garfield Ave, Loveland, CO 80538) is carrying our team swim suits.  I have confirmed they have most sizes in stock for both Male and Female.  Please call them at 970-667-3539 or email them at [email protected] to verify they have the size you are looking for before making the drive to Loveland.  For next year they will be prepared to have more in stock.
