The Opt-In registration for the Home Swim Meet against Village Green on Saturday the 26th is open!  

We are going back to normal 'everyone all at the same time' style meet.  This gives more time between events for the kids, team bonding, and the younger kids get to see the older kids swim.  Yes, this does imply more parent time at the swim meet, but swim meets by definition are painful.  I am sure you will survive.

FLR Warm Up: 6:20am-6:40am

Village Green Warm Up: 6:40am-7:00am

You will see two green buttons on the right:

Please click the meet entry green button on the left and select your respective kids availability to participate in the swim meet.  Then please select your kids top two events that they would like to swim.  It will say select up to 3 events, however Coach Jake would like the ability to challenge and select their third event for them.  There is a notes section and the ability to opt-out of relays.

Volunteers:

This is our one and only home meet.  This is where I need most of my volunteer hours/effort.  It takes a lot of work to host a home meet.   This year we have giant tents so the timers/kid wranglers should be in the shade most of the time.    I encourage job sharing/trading of jobs because standing there for three hours running a stop watch is tough.   The goal is to keep the meet moving quickly, don't care how we get the job done as long as it gets done.   To sign up for volunteering please use the same link above and select the right green button.   No experience necessary for any of the jobs as on the job training will be provided (trial by fire).  The health care and 401k plans for these jobs leaves a little to be desired however.
