First Meet @ Westfield + Lots of Info

Swim Meet – AWAY @ Westfield (1515 Westfield Drive, Fort Collins, CO) – Saturday June 11th:
The first official swim meet of the season is now open for opt-ing in. Reminder you must op-in for your kid(s) to participate in the swim meets. Go to the website and click on calendar. You will find a green box “Meet Entry”. Please mark your kids available for the meet, then select two events that they would like to swim. The coaches request that you leave the third entry for coaches choice. Entries will CLOSE at Wednesday at 11:30am.
Time Trials:
Entries are still being manually entered. If you don’t see a see time just yet, don’t worry, it will get there.
Official Training:
The Horsetooth Swim League is offering free training for anyone wanting to volunteer as an official for swim meets. I would really appreciate a volunteer or two taking the training (This does NOT force you into officiating). Scheduled for Sunday, June 12th at 8am at Parkwood Pool (1314 Buttonwood Drive). If you are going to attend could you please let me know.

In the calendar you should see green boxes with Job signup. Please volunteer where you can.
Concessions:
We are toying with the idea of running a concessions stand. I think the only reason we have not done in the past is we just barely squeak by with enough volunteers to run the regular swim meet. Sarah Tillman is looking to organize something like this, see if we can pull it off. She is looking for 1-2 to help with ideas, pricing, and organization. This would include meeting with me well before the first meet and maybe shopping before the meet or the morning of the meet. 4-6 to help run the “shop” the day of the meets. This would include the 2 day home meets and 1 Wednesday evening meet. If you are interested in helping please let Sarah know.
