Concessions Stand Fund Raising:

We raised $1,273 in concession stand profit.   A big shout out to Sarah Tillman who organized.  I know there were a lot of people involved in this.  Thank you ALL!   The left overs from the concession stand will be used for the end of the year party.

Merchandise Fund Raising:

You all were fleeced for $1,680 in profit with respect to merchandise. At least 119 items were sold.  A big shout out to Gena Burke who organized this.   Again there was more people involved so a big thank you to all.

Timing System:

This is the reason you we are raising funds this year.    I got an updated quote today from Colorado Time Systems.   The wireless timers cost $4,874.  Doing a little quick math:  $4,874 - $1,273 - $1,680 = $1,921.   I can confirm that the swim team savings can cover that $2k easily.   I will get the system on order probably late August.    Success!   Now the timers job will become even easier.

End of Season Party:

The only day that we could make work is Sunday August 7th @ 5:30pm.  Food and leftover concession stand snacks will be provided.   Be prepared to be hit with water balloons and various other games will be played.  There might even be some fun in the pool.   The volunteer page for the party is now open:

City Meet:

I will send out more information on City in a different email.  There are some volunteer positions still open.

Last Practice:

Thursday July 21st is the last day of regular practice for most kids.   There might be a few fun things that day.    If your kid qualified for State, Coach Jake will reach out to you directly about the practices next week.

Polls/Survey:

I am going to send out yet another email but want to keep it separate from this one.   We did some new things this year with merchandise, concessions, evening meet, etc.   I would like everyone's opinion on what worked and what didn't.   Continuous improvement is the goal.  I will try to get this out soon with the goal of having all the opinion compiled before the party.

What did I forget:

The moment I push send, I will remember something else I should have told everyone.
