School is out (well almost) and the pool is open (well almost).  Who is ready to get this swim team season started?

Optional Parent Meeting:

The optional parent meeting will be held at 5:31pm Friday the 26th (Tomorrow) in the pool parking lot.  I will talk about some general team information and logistics then will turn it over to our coaches where you can ask all the hard questions.    This is a very short informal meeting where we will try to answer your questions.

Schedules:

Our schedules are locked down.   Please look here: https://flr-penguins.swimtopia.com/calendar-and-me... for our team schedule.   Yes, both of our away meets are hosted by SCCA.   Meet scheduling is best described as corralled chaos.   We are doing our silly evening meet again.   Location of city meet is still TBD.

Swim Suits:

Team swim suits are optional but recommended.  Team swim suits are sold at MI Sports in Loveland.   We even have a team store for online ordering there:

Note: Since they do batch ordering, there is a June 1 deadline.

Team Swag:

For those of you that ordered team gear prior to about May 17th the gear should be ready to be delivered on Friday June 2nd at the Time Trials.  For anyone that ordered after that date I will get your order covered in round 2.   

New Timing Equipment:

I ordered the new timing equipment last October.   It arrived today, and I will be picking up Friday.   Just in time.     Now to figure out how to get it hooked up and working.  I might be looking for some volunteers to help figure the system out.
