Penguins,

Are we ready for our first home meet?   

Warm ups:

FLR Penguins - 11 & Ups will be warming up from 6:45 - 7:05, 10 & Unders will be warming up from 7:05 - 7:15. Please have your swimmers be ready to jump in at their assigned time.  The away team will have the 7:15am to 7:45am time slot to warm up.   We are going to try and start the meet at 7:45am, but guessing it will be a few minutes after that.

Post Race Check Ins:

Please ensure your swimmers are checking in with the coaches after their races. If they would like to check in pre-race, they are also welcome to do that. Our goal is to provide feedback on all their races.

Best Times Beads:

We will be starting best times beads. If your swimmer gets a best time, they can come to the coaches table to get a lanyard and a bead. The idea is that these lanyards will hang on their bags, and their beads will add up throughout the season so they can see how much they have progressed this year.

Parking:

Not sure if they will be doing any road work on Saturday or not.   Please watch for posted no parking signs.   Fairly certain that Lady Moon is safe to park on.

Weather:

Hopefully the weather clears out/holds out for the meet.   If there is a cancellation it will come via email by 6:30am at the latest.  No email means the swim meet is a go.

Volunteers:

I need one more lane timer and one more ribbon person.   Don't make me beg it isn't pretty.    In theory I will have some on the job training materials ready to go tomorrow morning.   If you are a timer please be there by 7:30am at the latest.

Team Clothing:

I am going to do one more order Sunday night.   If you want something ordered please let me know by Sunday night.   There is team stock of clothing for sale a the concessions stand.

Concessions:

Concessions will be sold at the meet.

Heat Sheets/Psych Sheets:

The info is still coming.   Expect a late evening email with this information.

I am sure I forgot something but there is always another mass email.
