Reminder: SIGN UP FOR THE SATURDAY HOME MEET!

Meet Sign Up:

Meet sign ups will close Wednesday, June 18th at 12 pm. Please indicate if your swimmers are available or not before this deadline. This deadline is set so we can build relays with the available swimmers. Last swim meet, we had quite a few swimmers who were signed up as available to do relays and swim in the meet that did not show up or let me know they were not coming. That caused us to have to cancel relays and even have some relays where people swam twice. Please please make sure if you are signed up, that you are selecting the right relay option

Meet Participation:

I want to invite all of our swim families to participate in swim meets. The kids get to watch other swimmers, cheer on their teammates and will show immense growth over the season! There are swimmers of all levels in all the meets, so all of our swimmers can see success!

Saturday Meet Details:

We will be swimming against Willow Springs, Westfield and Stone Ridge on Saturday. Despite the same number of teams, it should be a shorter meet, as the teams are significantly smaller. Our warmup will be at 6:30 am and the meet is at home. It is going to be HOT, please be prepared. Thank you to those have volunteered, we are still looking for a few more to sign up!

Odds and Ends:

I need one more kid wrangler and one more back up timer to fill out the volunteer list.  We have opted not to do concessions this swim meet, plan your snacks accordingly.   I would also like have someone shadow the computer person.  Not an official job, just watch and learn (and sit in the shade).   I want more than 1 person to be able to run the computer.
