Please see the below message from Coach MacKenzie with the Fort Collins Area Swim Team (FAST). She will be on the pool deck Monday from 8 - 9 am to connect with any families who might be interested. Coach MacKenzie Novell from Fort Collins Area Swim Team will be attending our swim practice on Monday, July 14th from 8-9 AM to evaluate any athletes interested in continuing their summer swimming experience into the school year. Fort Collins is a year-round non-profit age group club team. They offer 2 different practice groups for each age group to ensure everyone has a place to swim no matter what their age or ability is.

If you decide to have Coach MacK “place” your swimmer on a FAST practice group, you will be asked to scan a QR code to give your general contact information and you will receive a formal “Placement Letter” after she watched your athlete swim a few 25’s during our practice.

Their season begins in September; however, you can join at any time during the Fall/Winter. All new athletes to FAST will get a FREE two-week trial to make sure it’s a good fit for themselves and their families.

There is no pressure to join after being evaluated. Coach MacK is coming to our practice to make joining FAST easier on parents and help make the process quick and easy at a time of year where we are all busy!

No need to indicate if you’re coming to practice and want to get evaluated. Simply look for Coach MacK on deck and let her know if you would like to get evaluated and scan the QR code. Older athletes can do this without a parent, but 10 & Unders will benefit from a parent/babysitter checking in with Coach MacK to get all the contact information correct.
