Good luck to our State swimmers who will be swimming this weekend.

Volunteers:

I would like to thank all our volunteers that have made this season successful and fun.  You are much appreciated.   I would like to do a special shout out to Sarah Rechner and Alisha Hecht who have learned the computer system.   I think we have have 3 people on the team that can run the computers now.

I will need a few more volunteers for the end of season party.   If you have not volunteered please step up and help.    I will try to get signups posted this weekend.

End of Season Party:

We will have our end of season party on Wednesday the 30th at 5:30pm in the grassy area behind the pool (outside the fence).   For the uninitiated: there will be water balloons, everything gets wet.   There will be games.   There will be Chaos.   There will be food.   Please come.  Families/brothers/sisters/grandparents/aunts/uncles are all welcome to come join in on the fun.   I typically dream up a few silly games that work with varying degrees of success.

Note this is also late night at the pool.    While this is NOT an official pool party, typically all the kids end up in the pool.

Team Picture:

We (me) forgot to organize a team picture during our last home meet.   I would like to rectify that problem by taking the team picture at the end of year party.   Please remind me.

Team History Challenge Question:

I don't know and I would like to find out so this is an honest question.   When did the Penguins start?   How did the Penguins get their name?    Does anyone know someone from the beginning?   Have a way to figure it out?    I would love to capture some of that history, I just don't know how figure it out.
